#BackseatPoetry February 2016 [Part 2] | Pilot Jones Zo

pilot jones zoWelcome back for the second installment of this month’s #BackseatPoetry feature with Pilot Jones Zo. Before we get into her “Untitled” piece today, take some time and catch up on the interview we did here in part one.

I placed it where the wind doesn’t kiss the moon
Only to be caressed at the darkest of hours when my hands aren’t fumbling with your heart
How can I acknowledge it exist when I feed confidence down your throat
You don’t seem to think there’s an apocalypse in my memory
And blood stained happiness in my smile
You don’t hear the cries of the misunderstood
No you think you’re the only one
